The Chateau Croix-des-Rouzes vintage was created by Marie-Danielle Carles following the legacy of her parents in 1994. Located northwest of the village of Pomerol, the nineteenth century house offers incredible views over the vineyards of the estate. The evolution of the vines and their grapes can be observed over the seasons.

With svelte, sweetly defined fresh plum, black cherry fruits billowing from the glass. On the palate, it is concentrated and deep with ample black fruit flavour sustaining though unforced acidity and plenty of ripe skin tannins in soft, tongue-coating style. This amiable, affable and ample wine is open and welcoming already - indeed it's hard to resist.
